How to edit your User Profile details
If you need to edit your contact details with Linesearch beforeUdig, this can be done by clicking the User profile button in the top right-hand corner of the screen once you are logged in:
Here you will see a similar form to the one you used to register, and this is where you can update your User details anytime you need to. There are grey ? help buttons next to each section heading in case you need help with entering your information:
- Customer details: Here you can enter in your name and, if this is a work enquiry, you can enter your company details. If you are a homeowner, set the Company Name as “Private”.
- Postal address: Enter your postal address. If you have a PO Box, Unit or Lot number, these will typically be entered in Address Line 1, with the main part of the address in Address Line 2.
- Contact details: Provide at least one contact phone number. We require an email address so we can send you an account validation email (this is also how plans are usually sent).
- Login details: These are the details you will use to log in to the online service. Most people use their email address as their username. When choosing your password, it must be at least 8 characters long, and contain at least 1 upper case, 1 lower case, 1 number and 1 special character (!”$^.).
- Miscellaneous: Under this section, you can choose to subscribe to our newsletter service. This subscription status can be changed at any time.
Click the Save button at the top of the form once your changes have been made:
The Save button will revert back to an Edit button after it has been clicked:
The updated details will take effect immediately. If you wish to check this, you can click the Refresh Profile button:
Once you are happy with the changes, click the Close button to return to your main LSBUD screens:
