From 1993, Gas Networks Ireland (UK) has developed a safe and secure gas network in the South of Scotland, with sufficient capacity for Ireland to meet energy demand in an ever competitive global economy.
As part of the continuous process of review and improving their controls that protect its Network the GNI(UK) pipelines in Scotland will be protected through LSBUD from August 2020.
